Advancement of Community Empowerment (ACE CIC) offers information, advice, guidance, signposting and support around benefits, in Urdu and Mirpuri dialect. ACE CIC also run health and fitness activities, and work in partnership with local GP practices and community organisations, running activities on Saturdays at The Outback.

Unique Ways is a Calderdale charity (based at Hanson Lane Enterprise Centre) that directly supports Parent Carers who have children and young people with a disability/additional need aged 0-25. They are a membership charity so Parents/Carers need to join as a member before the organisation can help. Membership is free.

- Specialist Form Filling Service
- Specialist Sleep Service and Advice
- Training courses
- Sensory/Toy Library where families can try before they buy
- Book Library
- Information - access to SEND related news in Calderdale, regionally and nationally
- Parent Carer Forum for Calderdale called Family Voice Calderdale.
- Ongoing membership support and signposting.
