Collective Worship

Collective Worship happens daily in school. The current pattern is

Monday  -          Mrs Lee with a values led worship

Tuesday  -         Rev Stuart

Wednesday  -   Class-led worship with each class taking their turn to lead worship - usually linked to our Bible Story theme.

Thursday  -        Picture News for Church Schools. This worship takes place in class and allows time for pupils and staff to explore                              some 'big' questions that link into events in the news that week.

Friday  -             Celebration Worship introduced by our 'theme song' which talks about everyone making 'their own kind of music                              and singing their own special song' reminding us that we are all different, unique individuals and that we need to                              be confident in who we are. We share all the fantastic things that have happened during the week with each                                      other as a whole school community.

We sing every day and share our School Prayer and worship liturgy which were written by the Collective Worship committee. The Committee are working on some projects around creating reflection areas this year including prayer jars as well as continuing to work on developing and evaluating class-led worship. Here are our Collective Worship Committee for this year, proudly wearing their badges.
